IAJGS Philly2009 - Important Archiving Information

Posted by Mark Halpern
And you thought the Conference was over! Not us!
On behalf of the co-hosts, the IAJGS and the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Philadelphia (JGSGP), the JGSGP is "archiving" the 29th IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy.
Here is what we have so far:
WE NEED YOUR HELP. PLEASE!

We plan a more extensive photo exhibit. If you have photos of the Conference, please send them to us. Attach the images to an email or send us a link. The email address is jgsgp@comcast.net.

We plan a special Conference edition of our award winning journal, CHRONICLES. We are asking participants - both speakers and registrants - to submit articles about their experience at the Conference. Articles could be about research you undertook, the breakthrough of a brick wall, new family you connected with, a great session you attended, your general observation of the Conference from your perspective (whether a first-timer or a veteran), or any other subject you think is worthy of publishing. For speakers, you can submit your talk, a summary of the talk, or interesting connections you made at the Conference. Submit by September 30 to jgsgp@comcast.net.

Thanks to all of you for making this Conference a success and for submitting your photos and stories.
