Invitation to Attend the 33rd IAJGS International Conference on Jewish Genealogy

Dear Conference Attendee:

Registration is now open for this year's International Conference on Jewish Genealogy, which will be held in historic Boston from Sunday, August 4, to Friday, August 9.

Since you have attended a previous IAJGS conference, you know that the IAJGS conference is the leading genealogy event of the year for people researching their Jewish family history. The Boston planners are working hard to make this year's conference match and exceed the high standards of previous conferences. Experts will give 200 lectures and hands-on workshops during the conference. There will be a Resource Center with free access to fee-based databases, Breakfasts with Experts, SIG luncheons, an Exhibitor Hall, a Film Festival, tours, and wonderful evening entertainment.

Over 1000 researchers—ranging from beginners to professional genealogists and coming from all over the United States and around the world—are expected to attend the conference in Boston, so you will be able to network with old friends and make new ones.

The early registration discount will end on April 30. For more information or to register, visit the conference website at www.iajgs2013.org.

Attendees will benefit from a special rate at the centrally located Boston Park Plaza Hotel (see hotelinfo.iajgs2013.org). The rate will be in effect from July 29 to August 14, so consider spending extra time doing research or enjoying Boston and its wonderful nearby vacations areas. Within a few hours' drive of Boston are Cape Cod, the Tanglewood Music Center in western Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, and Connecticut.

To refresh your memory of what an IAJGS conference is like, see the video, Passport to Your Past, at video.iajgs2013.org.

Co-chairs of the conference are Marlis Humphrey representing the International Association of Jewish Genealogical Societies (IAJGS) and Jay Sage and Heidi Urich for the Jewish Genealogical Society of Greater Boston (JGSGB). We can be contacted at chairs@iajgs2013.org.

We hope to see you in Boston.

Sincerely,

Marlis, Jay, & Heidi

Conference Co-Chairs
