[UK] United Synagogue Marriage Authorizations

Posted by: Jan Meisels Allen

The United Synagogue changed its website very recently, which meant that the web address for Marriage Authorisations also changed. The Authorisation search is now located at http://www.theus.org.uk/category/find-marriage-record .

The marriage authorizations are a collaborative project between The United Synagogue and the Jewish Genealogical Society of Great Britain for marriages which took place under the auspices of the Office of the Chief Rabbi before 1908. Records cost £15 for United Synagogue and JGSGB members and £20 for non-members.

Thank you to Saul Issroff for sharing the information about the new web address.
